Cost model for setting a bed price in an accomodation facility

The Bachelor thesis is focused on bed pricing in hospitality industry. The main aim of the thesis is to create an idea to optimalize the current pricing sytem in a chosen accomodation facility. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical section. The theoretical part is focused on clarifications of cost terms and the issue of costing. Furthermore, it describes the importance of hospitality industry in Czech Republic, as well as frequent methods used for pricing beds. The chosen accomodation facility, analysis of its costs and current costing system is introduced in the practical section. The core of the chapter is to practically compare different pricing methods and to choose the most suitable one. In the end of the thesis the break even point is calculated and seasonal calendar for presenting a market price of beds is created.

The aim of this thesis is to create a business plan for a start-up enterprise acting in the hospitality industry with an emphasis on a healthy lifestyle. The thesis consists of two main parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part, based on the literature, provides the reader with methodological procedures, which are applied in the plan. At First there are described the basic concepts of business and general recommendations in connection with this issue, next parts are the structure of the business plan. The practical part is the real business plan. Equally important part of the work is the conclusion which summarizes the findings identified in the practical part, about the benefits and feasibility of the project.
Analysis of smoking regulations in the hospitality industry with a focus on chosen countries of the EU

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of smoking bans in public places. It is a controversial subject that sparks debate on whether smoking regulations are beneficial and if this trend should be replicated in other countries. The aim of this thesis is to characterize the current state of smoking in the world and the EU and to evaluate the attitude towards the introduction of smoking regulations in public spaces, with a focus on hospitality industries in different countries. This evaluation is determined from studies conducted by the EU and other global institutions involved with this matter. Thanks to the studies undertaken in different countries, the economic, health and social impacts of smoking bans have been analyzed. These findings will serve to predict the possible effect of an introduction of smoking bans in bars and restaurants in the Czech Republic.
Marketing strategy of the hotel Jana a.s.

The goal of this thesis is to create a marketing strategy for the hotel Jana a.s. located in Přerov (cental Moravia). It is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part introduces the basic marketing terms and the practical part applies them in practise on the example of hotel Jana a.s. Marketing research is included in order to analyze the current situation within internal and external environment of the hotel. The data from the hotel and his annual reports were used together with data from Czech Statistical Office and responsible ministries. Financial situation is analyzed using horizontal and vertical analysis of assets and liabilities plus some selected indicators (ROA, ROE etc.). The strategy is build and marketing mix is designed based on the outcome of all analyses.

This Master's Thesis deals with the processing of a business plan in the hospitality industry, offering more fast food nutrition products. The concept reflects the trend in business today, which became the focus of consumers on a healthy and balanced diet. The aim is to create a business plan for fast and healthy meals offered to customers in a comfortable family home bistro-café and finally to evaluate its feasibility. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part focuses on the theory, based on scientific literature. The content of the practical part is the description of the business plan, market, customers and competitors analysis. Based on the results of each analysis is then assembled a firm marketing strategy. The financial plan includes a realistic, optimistic and pessimistic version. The conclusion is then evaluated the business plan and its feasibility.
Operation and management of the brewery and restaurant U Fleků in Prague

The bachelor thesis deals with analyse of the geographical area and analysis of competing microbreweries in the area. Thesis analyzes the operation and management. Information I gained not only from secondary sources, but also use of interviews with management and employees. I was interested in the structure of the clientele, the need for product innovation, employee participation in corporate governance and internal communications. Based on this information, I designed innovations - special weekly menu, calculation and loyalty system and improve internal communication.
